- What is "7-day delayed" data?
- Free accounts see permits filed 7 or more days ago. Pro and Business accounts see permits as soon as they appear on the City of Toronto Open Data portal (typically same-day).
- What is a saved search?
- A saved search is a trade + area (neighbourhood or FSA) + minimum permit value filter. The daily alert engine runs your saved searches every morning and emails you only the new permits that match — no repeats, no manual checking.
- Are there contractor or owner names?
- No. Toronto's building permit data does not include contractor or owner names in any reliable way. We sell territory and market intelligence — where, what trade, and how much — not contact information.
- What data does PermitIndex use?
- Toronto Building Permits (Active) from the City of Toronto Open Data portal, refreshed daily. Data is licensed under the Open Government Licence – Toronto.
- Can I cancel anytime?
